GigE jumbo frames tot 9216 bytes worden ondersteund voor maximale systeemprestaties. 10\/100 Mbps legacy apparaten worden ondersteund via Auto-Negotiation, waarbij elk Ethernet-automatiseringssysteem wordt ondersteund. Deze goedkope compacte unit heeft een robuuste metalen behuizing en is bedoeld voor DIN-rail montage in bedieningspanelen. De unit wordt gevoed vanaf 48 VDC en werkt in een temperatuurbereik van 0 tot 60\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>De poorten 5 &#8211; 8 PoE leveren data en stroom over \u00e9\u00e9n Cat5e kabel. De eenheid fungeert als stroomvoorziening (PSE) &#8211; en levert tot 15,4 W per poort voor IEEE 802.3af compliant aangedreven apparaten (PD). PoE elimineert de noodzaak voor extra voedingen voor Ethernet apparaten die op uitdagende locaties worden geplaatst &#8211; zoals draadloze toegangspunten of IP-camera&#8217;s die buiten het bereik of buitenshuis zijn gemonteerd. Powered Device (PD) kunnen tot 100 meter van de switch worden geplaatst.<\/p>\n<p>Deze plug-and-play switch vereist geen configuratie. Alle poorten configureren automatisch de datasnelheid en duplex met behulp van het Auto-negotiation protocol. Afhankelijk van de capaciteit van de linkpartner wordt de communicatie ingesteld op 10, 100 of 1000 Mbps op half- of full-duplex. Alle poorten zijn geschikt voor cross-over of straight-through kabels via het Auto-MDIX protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Het apparaat wordt gevoed vanaf 48 VDC.
